Senior Design Detailer
Job Description
A new opportunity has come up for Furniture manufacturing based in Abu Dhabi. Our client is looking for a well-experienceddesign detailersto help them manage a design studio &; showroom based in Abu Dhabi.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
Managing the draughtsman team &; preparing the detailing joinery list.
Responsible for the preparation of all FF&;E selections and documentation for the final project presentation.
To monitor proper implementation of design on site.
Manage and lead the Technical Department in the preparation of technical submittal (materials and Engineering drawings) and production orders
To check and review material submittal, shop drawing, and method statement before submitting for client approval. ▪
To check and review production order, fabrication drawing, value engineering, schedules, and quantity
To prepare, check and issue material requests per project requirements and priorities ▪
Issue/Responding to RFI's, keeping the drawing register, submittal log, approvals, site instructions, and production orders. ▪
Responsible for completion of all drawings, attending design meetings with clients and consultants to clearing any design and technical issues
Requirements
To be considered for this role :
1. Should have 8 to 10 years of experience in Furniture/fixture joinery &; fit out
2. Should be qualified CAD detailer / Auto-cad draughtsman
3. Degree /Diplofrom interior designing or relevant field
4.MS Office ▪ AutoCAD ▪ 3D Max ▪ V ray rendering ▪ Sketch up ▪ Photoshop
5. technically skilled in Furniture joinery design &; Refurbishment
