Overview
The S4 Supply Technician Lead/Alternate Contract Manager (STL/ACM) is responsible for providing the Area Support Group- Jordan (ASG-J) with reliable and responsive enhanced logistics support capability. The TM/CM will supply support including Chain of Custody, Total Asset Visibility, Personal Property Shipping Office (PPSO), Personal Property Processing Office (PPPO), and Commercial Travel Office (CTO), distribution of mail, fuel, and fleet management, along with information support to the ASG-J.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and submits correspondence and job order reports as required.
- Reparses equipment and paperwork necessary to facilitate the onward movement or retrograde of equipment to DLA DS, CONUS, or other designated locations via US Postal Service, DHL, FEDEX or other US Military approved ground or air transport methods/means.
- Maintains files, historical data and conducts General Office Maintenance.
- May be required to escort equipment in transit (i.e. pallet rider for Mil Air movement of particularly sensitive or high priority materiel).
- Conducts research, as required, for the proper identification and marking/tagging of equipment and materiel.
- Serves as the Alternate Contract Manager (ACM) when the CM is absent.
- As the ACM, has full authority in the CM’s absence to act for the contractor on all contract matters relating to daily operation of this contract (Deliverable A015).
- Will attend, participate in, and furnish input to scheduled and unscheduled meetings, conferences, and briefings that relate to the functions and services herein as required by the Government to provide effective communication and impart necessary information for all contract issues.
- Has expertise and knowledge of all functional area within ITO and CRSP
- Possesses a general understanding of PPSO, PPPO, and CTO.
- Ensures all meeting attendees shall at times include the managerial, supervisory, and other personnel knowledgeable of the subject matter.
- Performs other duties as identified in Performance Work Statement 5.3.2.1.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Education / Certifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Active Secret Clearance
- DoD experience required
- Army or CENTCOM AOR logistics experience preferred
- Must possess a valid State driver’s license to operate Government Tactical Vehicles
Experience:
- As the Alternate Contract Manager, when the CM is absent, the ACM must have a minimum 15 or more years cost analysis experience
- A minimum 3 or more years’ experience at S4 level (or equivalent level experience in civilian, US Navy, Air Force or Marine Corps supply systems).
- Experience with the EFLIPL, CSDP producers, and the GCSS-A automated property accounting system at the unit level.
- Familiarity with Defense Department Data Sources (e.g., cost and software data reporting), Earned Value Management (EVM), or must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the past 10 years working as a Program Manager.
- Must have extensive knowledge in EFLIPL, unit level GCSS-A, DST and AESIP.
- Must be experienced in CSDP procedures.
