PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:Manage all Quality Assurance activities across the Americana Restaurants; proactively ensuring the highest levels of food safety and process compliance while continually improving the quality of products through the entire chain.ROLE FUNCTIONS: (to supervise the following Areas of Responsibility)Restaurant food safety and best practiceCompliance and best practice for suppliers and distribution centersProduct safety and quality evaluation processes with significant experience in product sensory knowledgeCrisis management, Consumer Complaints, Technical and Ethical communications processesFranchise partner point of contact and referenceCustomers and products complaints managementTraining of QA staff to build technical capacity and self-sufficiencyBest practice, modernization and evolution of the functionQA Systems and performance trackingKNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIRED:Education:BSc in Food Science & Technology, Chemistry or Industrial EngineeringCertified in Quality related fields (From HACCP, 6 Sigma, SPC, ASQ, BRC, QMS/Lead auditor)Experience:5+ years management experience in the Food industry, in QA, Food Manufacturing related roles, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in quick service and/or casual dining restaurant.Experience in corporate quality systems, compliance, crisis management, food safety guidelines and regulations relations with government bodies.Exposure with food manufacturing or food preparation, including an overall understanding of production facilities, quality improvement methods and product development requirements.Thought leadership, influencer and change driver
