Program Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary

Sets program action plans, tracks, conducts regular field visits, and reports on program progress, and success to ensure achieving short and long-term objectives of the programs in conformance to the Organization’s strategic direction. Sets and tracks budgets and spending; develops reports to ensure accuracy of financial data and conformance to budgets. Implements monitoring and evaluation plans to ensure that the tools are established and utilized and assists in evaluating new program/concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Develops program action plans, (implements action plans if the program does not have implementers) tracks progress and develops detailed reports to ensure achieving program’s short-term and long-term goals.
  • Sets program budgets, monitors, and reports on spending to ensure conformance to set budget
  • Line-management of implementers and field staff by providing technical recommendations/feedback the to ensure sustainability of program delivery; overseeing daily implementation activities; understanding the approach of implementation from grass roots to top program management.
  • Develop thorough understanding of processes and approach; maintain updated database of all stakeholders including but not limited to beneficiaries, trainers, and field staff etc.
  • Provides assistance to stakeholders when needed by providing technical recommendations/feedback to ensure smooth implementations.
  • Aids in formalizing new concepts and programs and support in preparing proposals for Organizations.
  • Implements monitoring and evaluation tools to ensure adequately gathering high quality advantageous data and ensure continuous improvement
  • Conduct program evaluation and analysis to identify outstanding young participants in current programs to ensure proper representation of the Organization.
  • Supports in growing the Organization’s proper network through various mediums to ensure constant growth and increase the reach of the Organization.
  • Conducts periodic site visits for (all) programs / events to ensure that everything is conforming to set standards and plans.
  • Manages relationship with implementers / stakeholders to ensure maintaining a sound relationship and ensuring stakeholder satisfaction
  • Perform risk management assessment.
  • Maintains a comprehensive database of all program’s documentation to ensure having all the required information/documents.
  • Capture and relay success stories, and on-the-field feedback to the Media and Communications Department to ensure communicating the Organization’s and program’s success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or any related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience
  • Proficient English Language
