Job Description

Able to perform a critical analysis of -planning work prepared by others
Able to support, mentor and coordinate junior planners within a team
Able to communicate and defend planning to project team members
Perform delay analysis work using various techniques
Planning support for a single large/ complex project
Management & coordination of a project planning team.

Competencies:

Good understanding of key contract documents and how they relate to the planning process;
Good understanding of general construction in various sectors like in Building, Civil, Marine, Environment etc.
Able to develop a WBS for a medium project;
Application of various delay analysis techniques;
Preparation of resource & cost-loaded baseline programmes for medium projects;
Preparation of progress reports using various visual techniques;
Preparation of recovery/ target programmes;
Use visual tools to assist in communicating planning, e.g. Line of Balance, Time Displacement, etc.
Highly skilled in Primavera Software
Highly proficient in the use MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint;
Good knowledge in other planning softwares, like Tilos

Qualifications

You have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil/ Marine Construction.
Has minimum 8-10 years of work experience in Civil and Marine works in the field of planning
You have a very good knowledge with Ms Office package.
You can review, extract information from drawings using AutoCad (preferable)
You are fluent in English.
You are ready to travel abroad
