Working on all aspects of electrical scope of work across all phases of projects including Conceptual Studies Basic FEED Detailed Design Procurement through to Commissioning
Work activities will include both refinery project and proposal work
Coordinating the electrical requirements with various disciplines and across multiple execution centers
Projects and proposals are for both include a wide variety of sectors such as Battery Materials, Green Hydrogen, Carbon Capture and Storage, Waste to Fuel, Pipeline and Compressor/ Pumping stations, Electrification of offshore assets, other New Energy projects and also conventional Oil & Gas and Petrochemical facilities.
Develop detailed load list by collaborating with various disciplines and vendors as required
Produce specifications and datasheets for Electrical equipment including Low and High Voltage Switchgear, Power Transformers and Power electronics (VSD's and Thyristor Controllers) and Power Management Systems
Produce single line diagrams and protection & metering diagrams
Provide guidance and review of the electrical plant layout and cabling networks, evaluate above ground / below ground optionsQualifications
Minimum 15 years design experience within the oil and gas, refinery industry, with last 5 years at least, leading a team of Electrical discipline engineers and designers
Extensive technical, practical and leadership experience in the Electrical discipline in the same or similar industry, including experience managing and leading multi-disciplinary projects and teams.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Full-Time Bachelor's Degree in Electrical /Electronics Engineering from an accredited university
