Job description

Charterhouse is working with a market leading five-star hotel in Muscat, a renowned destination whether staying for a week or visiting just for a meal. Our client is looking to hire a Director of Food and Beverage to oversee all food and beverage/culinary operations.
About the role
The Director of F&B will be tasked with developing and implementing strategies to elevate the concepts further and ensure the execution of the brand strategies. You will be responsible for leading the team to excel and exceed brand and customer standards. In addition, you will oversee a diverse portfolio of concepts across bars, restaurants, in room dining as well as banqueting and have the creative vision and operational experience to constantly evolve the locations. Appealing to key customers at all times, through effective promotions, supporting the chefs on new menus and the culinary development.
You will be responsible for the full F&B function across the hotel as well as all budgets, forecasts, resources and standards across the department. You will work closely with marketing, finance, events, and report directly to the GM.
About you
The successful candidate should be an experienced F&B professional who has worked their way up from Restaurant Manger to the current role, where they oversee a portfolio of concepts within a five-star hotel or restaurant group. Experience within a five-star hotel is essential for this role. This role requires a vibrant, energetic, passionate and enthusiastic F&B leader, someone who is hands on and leads their team with a high level of energy, support, motivation and passion. The F&B department is to be a fun and vivacious part of the property.
Experience in the Middle East is of added value but not essential. Preference will be given to candidates from a known international hotel brand or marketing leading restaurant group.
