Our client seeks a highly motivated individual who is a good team player with a collaborative approach. Must currently reside in the UAE and be prepared to relocate to Abu Dhabi, UAE experience is essential. The ideal candidate will preferably from a professional services/ corporate background.

Description:

Reviewing and verifying reimbursement requests from their portfolio companies
Creating and maintaining records and accounts for any reimbursements paid
Creating management reports on a monthly and quarterly basis
Liaising with a third part administrator who will validate the records
Account reconciliation
Assist the members of the portfolio companies with any questions they may have pertaining to the reimbursements
Manage external relationships with service providers and local banks
Assist the wider management team in budgeting and administration as needed
Negotiating with external service providers (e.g., IT, accommodation, utilities)

Criteria:

A recognized accounting qualification
UAE experience is essential
5-8 years’ experience in a similar role
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong financial reporting experience with a high attention to detail
Experience in an international company would be an added advantage
Highest standards of professionalism, integrity, honesty, and reliability
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate both internally and externally
Keen to work with a small, collaborative team and gain experience outside the core finance remit
Committed to a high level of customer service
Resourceful, proactive and someone good at providing solutions
Excellent Microsoft Office skills particularly PowerPoint and Excel (Advanced)
The ability to communicate effectively via email
The ideal candidate will preferably from a professional services/ corporate background
Must currently reside in the UAE and be prepared to relocate to Abu Dhabi
