Legal Services Manager / Legal Counsel – IP, Brand and Sponsorship We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified paralegal or newly qualified lawyer (or someone with more experience looking for a new challenge) to join the Emirates Group Legal team. This role will be reporting to Assistant General Counsel (Brand and Sponsorship), supporting Emirates’ Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand (CCMB) division. Within this role, you will be working alongside the Assistant General Counsel on an extensive and varied range of commercial and contract matters, including sponsorships, events, media and marketing agreements, filming and production agreements and IP licensing. In addition, you will be responsible for managing Emirates’ trade mark portfolio including working with external counsel on registrations, renewals, oppositions, actions against counterfeit goods and social media/domain name actions. This role requires a high level of drafting and commercial contract experience as well as a working knowledge of trademark and intellectual property processes. You must be organized and flexible with an ability to balance and deliver multiple projects, whilst maintaining attention to detail. The successful candidate will also be required to work closely with internal clients across CCMB and other stakeholders within Emirates Group, so excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
