PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

supervise and commissioning all HV substation within JIGCC .
Arrange all work-related interconnection and protections with SEC substations
Following all EPC contractor electrical work and ensure all healthiness of HV substations and its subsystem like GIS, transformers and others…
Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by their design and conducting review and brainstorming session.
Confirms system's and components' capabilities by generating/review/approve performance testing methods.
Assures product quality.
Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
Completes cycle by training and guiding technicians.
Ensure compliance with Project Technical Specifications, International Standards, and OEM procedures and specifications.
Preparation and follow-up on Punch Lists.
Developing design modifications for Power Generation & Distribution and associated Protection Schemes, Motors and Generators, Frequency Conversion Plant and Equipment, Transformers (Regulators/Rectifiers), Switchboards and Switchgear.

Job Description and Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY

• Good experience in review all EPC design documents related to 380KV substation.

• Review and report all Installation and commissioning activities of 380KV.

• Review installation & perform commissioning on all Feeders and its subsystem (GIS 380 KV)

• Rich experience in Protections relays, UPS, converters, Battery chargers, High Speed Transfer Switches

• Expert in testing & commissioning of all Power System components (HV, MV, LV).

• Expert in testing & commissioning of all Power management system (PMS) and Power System Automation (PSA)

• Expert in Commissioning, Maintenance, troubleshooting DC systems like UPS and battery Chargers.

• Expert in Commissioning, Configuration, apply final setting for Protection Relays and final reviewer to EPC documents.

• Rich experience in different step-up/step down transformers and its commissioning activities.

SKILLS

· Strong knowledge in power plant electrical equipment commissioning and maintenance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· Bachelor degree in electrical engineering

· 15 years experience in design, design review and commissioning in the electrical engineering field .
