Current destinations we operate in include popular Mediterranean holiday hot-spots such as: Spain, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Croatia and Cyprus, USA, the Caribbean, Thailand, the UAE, Oman and many others.
As part of Meeting Point Tunisia, we are currently looking for a Contracting Manager to contribute to the success of our Team!
Job Purpose Overview
Responsible for establishing strong relationships with Hotels and Service providers to negotiate the best possible deals and rates to benefit – in line with client briefs (FTI and DMC), negotiate with hotels year-round contracts, access to market specific rates for all clients and exclusive rates (example – flash sales, club rates, etc..) where required or possible.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

Identify opportunities and negotiate for allocations and stop sales protection where applicable
Identify opportunities and negotiate for override agreements where applicable
Keep up-to-date of products and exclusive deals negotiated by other DMCs with hotel partners
Keep up-to-date with hotel developments such as new openings, closures, rebranding in the destination
Secure approval for rate changes and special offers
Monitor date sensitive offers and expiration rates of EBDs
Provide support to Operations Center when required or as per SOPs for guest emergencies
Coordinate with Data Loading to ensure accurate and timely loading of negotiated contracts
Manage hotel portfolio performance through negotiation of special deals, flash sales calendars, override agreements and ad-hoc activities to achieve annual growth target
Ensure that FTI Group and its brands have access to the appropriate accommodation contracts which suits the customer profiles and matches the requirements in the regional area-covered
Knowledge of IC distribution channels & business segmentations
Contribute to the development of the commercial strategy of the regional area-covered
Enhance strategic relations with existing and new suppliers in the regional area-covered
Drive growth, development and new opportunities to be a market leader of the regional area-covered
Actively monitor performance of regional area-covered. to achieve the budget targets in vote with the IC TO
Support and help solve queries from Accounts Department related to purchase
Your Skills and Responsibilities:
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma with a qualification in a relevant area
4-6 years of experience in a relevant industry, including at least 2 years in positions of progressively increasing responsibilities
Understanding of the assigned region and knowledge of the local contact network is an advantage
Clear understanding of hotel and DMC distribution method
Fluent English Level as well as local languages
Budget and Cost Control Knowledge
IT and Computer Literacy
