University of Doha for Science and Technology – Admissions and Registration Directorate is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Student Recruitment Senior Specialist. Reporting to the Manager, Student Services, Student Recruitment Senior Specialist must possess the skills and expertise necessary to support the Admissions and Registration Directorate of the University and fully implementing UDST’s mission and vision.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires a confident communicator, influencer and promoter who will promote and recruit students to UDST by delivering high quality activities that promote UDST to the community through delivering information, advise, guidance to High Schools, Colleges and recruitment events keeping in line with the Universities recruitment strategic initiatives.
The successful candidate will provide accurate and timely information about UDST admission requirements, programs and student life to prospective students, school administrators, families and other influencers.
The successful candidate will create, enhance and maintain relationships with principals and counsellors at targeted schools, in order to market UDST as the main technical and vocational education institution in Qatar, and an excellent option for their students.
The incumbent will liaise with the Sponsorship Specialist regarding sponsorship for prospective students to provide accurate advice and information. S/He will also liaise with Marketing and Communications to develop an effective and professional communication/media package that promotes UDST to all potential students.
The successful candidate will liaise with school administrators to organize recruitment events for their students, in order to raise the profile of UDST with potential students. S/He will also develop and maintain relationships with Student Recruitment Officers from Universities and Colleges in Qatar to discuss potential collaborations on recruitment strategy.
The incumbent will liaise with key members of UDST faculty to organize and participate in schools and on-campus visits, delivering presentations and facilitating engaging educational activities for prospective students and also contribute student recruitment information and expertise by participating in relevant UDST committees.
The successful candidate will attend local and national recruitment events, and provide information and advice to prospective students, while enhancing the reputation of UDST. S/He will also assist in conducting student focus groups to gather information regarding the student recruitment experience and analyze findings to inform future recruitment activities.
The successful candidate will manage and maintain data for student recruitment activities and report statistical trends related to student recruitment for input into UDST’s strategic recruitment plans and perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Education and Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
Master’s degree / Professional certification in a relevant field preferred
Experience:
Minimum 6 years of Student Recruitment experience
Language:
Fluency in written and spoken English language required
Fluency in written and spoken Arabic language preferred
Other Required Skills:
Highly proficient and reliable individual with good communications, PR and interpersonal skills. An expert in recruitment, admissions and registrations processing along with good time management is preferred. Teamwork, Collaborative working, concern to order/quality and service excellence should be the strong attributes.
