Job Description

General Purpose:

Responsible for issuing and following up on all foreign purchase orders ensuring on time delivery of all requested materials and ensuring same quantity and quality of original purchasing order as well.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

Work closely with planning department to help achieving the preset plan

Searching for approved international suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities, and the supplier's reputation and history.

Able to calculate international freight charges to determine whether the purchase of the materials or equipment’s is economically feasible.

Prepare price comparisons to ensure compliance with the agreed upon contract price.

Analyze price proposals and other data and information to determine reasonable prices.

Negotiate with international suppliers to achieve best material price offer and best service.

Monitor and follow applicable international laws and regulations.

Prepare foreign purchase orders, solicit bid proposals and review requisitions for materials or merchandise.

Issue purchase order as requested ensuring on time delivery of the required quantities.

Review and follow up on all foreign purchase orders requested by all concerned parties/departments.

Administer contracts with international suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.

Monitor shipments to ensure that goods come in on time, and in case of problems trace shipments and follow up undelivered goods.

Issue purchase report reflecting the status of purchase orders even they are opened or closed ones.

Follow up on the stock available of all materials in order to prevent low/no stock with the warehouse department.

Maintain the file system and the internal documentation path to reach the perfect path.
Job Requirements

University graduate.

Minimum 2 years’ experience in business and same field.

Strong organization skills.

Dynamic and initiative person.

High qualifications in negotiation skills

High level of facilitation skills including interactive communication skills.

Excellent knowledge of Arabic / English languages (written & spoken).

Good team player.
* Computer and systems practicality
