Position: Project Technical Support Engineer
Location: Neom, Saudi Arabia

The organization generates over $24 million in sales and has over 850 companies and 700 employees. They are currently looking for a Commercial Manager to be based in NEOM, Saudi Arabia.
Role Purpose
Oversight and coordination of the engineering designs (masterplans, buildings, and site infrastructure) across all the clients projects for all assets development and design stages ensuring that all projects meet the client's vision
Key Responsibilities
- Support Assets Briefs development, review and conducting gap analysis on applicable codes and established design criteria
- Assists in evaluation of Contractors proposals, ensuring they are complete and unambiguous
- Assists in the review of design consultants scope of works
- Assist in drafting technical scopes of services
- Assist in drafting Requests for Proposals
- Review Bills of Quantities in relation to the design plans
- Assists in design and designer progress, quality, and performance
- Review and critique of the Tender Documentation
- Review and critique the various proposals from specialist sub-contractors
- Reviews of the potential innovation and value engineering solutions
- Coordinate with various NEOM Sectors and Departments to insure properly integrated plans
- Design review from concept level to the IFC stage including providing technical guidance, review and analysis of designs, studies, sustainability, calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Ensures engineering drawings and designs are completed on time and adhere to the established specifications and standards, including mitigating health and safety issues and design and buildability issues prior to construction
- Ensures that the highest level of sustainability targets is achieved to a recognised environmental certification system and incorporated into the designs and managed from inception to completion.
- Review and critique during each stage of the consultant's strategic masterplan and building designs and ensure coordination
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Bachelors or master's degree in engineering from a recognized university
- Professional certification or chartered status with a recognised regulatory body
- 8-10years of relevant experience as project engineer participating in projects management, planning and design management from inception to completion in large scale complex mixed-use masterplans and urban development projects
- Strong skills and knowledge in engineering practices, economic principles, calculation methods, design details and specifications
- Familiar with the relevant building codes, standards, permits, sustainability regulations and software applications (including Revit, ArcGIS, SSA etc.)
- Track record as a team player with sound multi-disciplinary organisation with design review experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
- Strong English language communication, presentation and report writing skills
- Must Be Saudi national
