NOC Support Engineer

Duties;

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related Network Problem for Consumer.
  • Analytical thinking, fast reactions, problem solving ability, excellent communication skills and customer Service skills.
  • Follow technical instructions to ensure adherence to corporate quality standards
  • Escalate unresolved calls to the next level support team using Service Desk ticketing system
  • Take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of problems on behalf of the user and communicate progress in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Requirements for the position are;

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or any related field.
  • Minimum one year of work experience in network Field preferred have ISP Experience.
  • Hands on experience in networking, routing, and switching.
  • Hands on experience Network Management Platforms and Tools
  • Network fundamentals – IP subnetting, DHCP, DNS and ARP.
  • L2 technologies – VLAN/802.1q concepts, STP
  • L3 technologies – general routing – BGP, OSPF, route redistribution
  • Hands on experience in Cisco, Juniper, Zhone technologies.
  • Analytical thinking, fast reactions, problem solving ability, excellent communication skills and customer Service skills.
