Job Description
Our client is a well-established engineering services organization and we are hiring an experienced electrical tooling technician to join their UAE operations to provide tooling solutions to their global client.
Role Summary
- Liaise with the sales team to provide mission critical role to manage quotes for customized tools for onsite services and optimize costs and lead times.
- Develop customized tooling solutions based on customer requirements.
- Source vendors, evaluate quotes for approvals and place orders.
- Ensure the accurate and timely delivery of tools and consumables.
- Prepare technical documentation for electrical tools and equipment.
- Manage tooling and instrumentation inventory.
- Visit sites for preparation of tooling within preventative and emergency maintenance, refurbishment and shutdown.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in electrical tooling services including testing, calibration and maintenance for gas and steam turbines and generations
- Knowledge of logistics documentation for shipment and order dispatch.
- Sound experience of tooling cost structure.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics or Robotics Engineering is mandatory
Candidate Profile
- Currently living in the United Arab Emirates.
- Fluent in English
- Must be able to join immediately.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
