Barista – Magic Planet
The role of the Barista is to maintain the standard and quality of the hot and cold beverages. Receive beverage orders and serve beverages and food orders to guest tables according to restaurant specifications, courteously and efficiently.
Delivery & Support
- Ensure that our guests receive prompt, friendly and personalized service.
- Know your product. Knowledge of food and drink menu makes it easier to sell our products and service our guests.
- Accommodate our guests’ time restrictions through timely service and Double-checking.
- Act as a final check on the quality of food and beverage items before they are served.
- Assist the management in maintaining standards by reporting any problems in your surrounding (i.e. are the floors, tables and service stations clean?)
- Aid in minimizing the cost of sales by accurately pouring to our standard recipes and by keeping track of waste and comps.
- Keep bar and surrounding areas clean, free of debris and organized.
- Notify managers of specific guests’ needs and requests.
- Clean and maintain all the equipment used.
- Always inform the Shift in charge when leaving the floor for any reason.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
- Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level daily.
- Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation, proper table set-up and dress code of the restaurant.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all beverage brands non-alcoholic selections, correct glassware, and garnishes in the restaurant.
- Maintain knowledge of the particular characteristics and description of every beverage by the glass and major drinks on the beverage list.

Minimum experience

- Certificate /Course/Diploma in Hospitality or relevant experience.
