Job Description
A Social Media Manager for the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centreprovides the voice for a company across social channels. This position is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing F&B strategies for the social media accounts of the property.
What will I be doing
- Develop, launch and manage new competitions and campaigns in collaboration with the F&B team.
- Perform research on current benchmark of F&B trends and audience preferences.
- Monitor, track, analyze and report the performance on social media platforms using tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook insights.
- Generate engaging content by managing the day-to-day handling of all social media channels by adapting suitable contents.
- Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness and increase customer engagement.
- Designing and implementing social media strategy to align with business goals.
- Set targets to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
- Form key relationships with influencers across the social media platforms.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies.

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills, and values that follow:
- Proven work experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google and other social media best practices.
- Solid knowledge of online marketing channels in general and in Food & Beverage segment in specific.
- High level of IT proficiency.
- Proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets.
- Strong attention to detail and the production of high quality work.
- Hands on experience in content management.
- Excellent copywriting skills.
- Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video).
- Solid organizational and administration skills.
- Excellent time-management skills.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
- Previous experience in a luxury segment as F&B Social Media Manager.
- Diploma / Degree in Marketing Management from a recognized education institution.
- Additional Marketing / Social Media / qualifications are valued.
