Senior Technology Engineer – Storage & Backup
Job Description
Our Client
A leading financial institution
Your Responsibilities
- Drive projects to move the non-compliant products into the standard stack.
- Automate the installation and configuration of standard stack items.
- Design solutions that caters for enhancing the operational stability.
- Address Problem tickets, Risk and Audit items in the products backlog.
- Establish the product backlog that require to be addressed on 2 week sprints.
- Drive backlog projects to completion with infrastructure as code approach.
- Review all housekeeping activities and identify key processes that should be automated.
- Introduce Open Source technologies into standard technology stack
Your Qualifications
- At least 5-7 years of experience at a relevant technical position in large organizations with hands on automation knowledge
- Specific experience on Networker/NetBackup with DataDomain, must have understanding about the policies. review the capacity.
- Must have clear understanding on Different level of backups.
- Should have troubleshooting issues in the backup products Essential
- Must have experience in Oracle/SQL related backup configuration and agents. In general, all the DB level backups. Should understand the basics of Oracle and SQL related backups.
- Must have migrated applications between the backup products in the past.
- DellEMC DataDomain Administration experience with cloud-tier.
- Storage experience with PowerMax & SAN experience with Brocade.
