Lead operations, ensuring continual review and improvements to processes, procedures and performance.
Implement the updated business plan, adapting our leadership and operations strategy based on the current development and projected growth of Compost Plant.
Oversee operations, maintenance, and transportation for Compost Plant to achieve performance and production standards.
Manage marketing and sales of various organic products.
Oversee management of sales and client accounts.
Implement and provide oversight of inventory and sales systems for compost-related supplies.
Work to secure adequate revenue growth and funding for growing operations and meeting long-term capital development and expansion goals.
Manage daily processes by monitoring and reporting the status of key services, safety, and equipment.
Develop and monitor budgets, monitor monthly financials, and ensure effective implementation of financial policies.
Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi / UAE regulations and contract requirements.
Oversee waste management schemes, such as at landfill sites
Oversee and manage the transportation of waste to ensure that it takes place efficiently without contaminating air, land or water sources
Manage the development, promotion and implementation of new waste disposal schemes
Ensure compliance with current legislation in the transportation, handling and disposal of waste
Formulate and control budgets for waste disposal
Monitor the quality and performance of waste Management services, including contract management of external providers
Investigate and Manage claims of illegal dumping of waste and work with other waste regulation enforcement staff

المهارات

A relevant degree in Engineering, environmental or science / Waste Management. Masters Degree would be an added advantage
8+ years in similar role.
Ability to communicate with, explain ideas to and motivate others
Analytical skills
Capacity to grasp and apply legislation
Strong organizational skills
Interest in and understanding of environmental and sustainability policies
Decision-making skills
Ability to oversee and manage processes and people.
English is a must, Arabic would be an advantage
