Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree from a respected institution, plus an advanced degree in a business-related or technical discipline is preferred.
- 5+ years of professional experience is required.
- Project management experience and strong managerial skills to ensure well-organized and efficient day-to-day practice operations
- Effective and proactive problem solver with a heavily team-oriented style.
- Strong sense of entrepreneurship, high degree of self-motivation
- Passion/curiosity for digital, analytics, technology and business building (experience not required, but nice to have)
- Effective communicator and ability to effectively engage with consultants, senior leaders, and other Firm Service Professionals to have impact
- Understanding of how to leverage the resources of the Firm and communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences
- Ability to interact as a peer with practice leaders and to operate as an integral member of the practice leadership team
- Strong client service orientation is essential
Who You'll Work With
You will be based in either Doha, Istanbul, Johannesburg or Riyadh as part of McKinsey Digital to lead practice strategy and operations for the large and complex DnA growth platform in EEMA.
You will ensure the success of the DnA EEMA regional agenda, including growing and improving the firm's digital and analytics client service and creating a home for talented technical practitioners and integrative consultants.
You will work closely with the EEMA DnA leadership group, the EEMA professional development manager, and the Global DnA practice strategy & operations team to drive growth and impact in our dual client service and people mission in DnA EEMA across all sectors. This is a true general management role.What You'll Do
You will act as thought partner for DnA regional leader(s) and collaborate with regional DnA people/PD leader on wide range of practice issues identify areas of highest opportunity for innovation, continuously identifying opportunities to create next level of impact.
You will support the DnA regional operations committee manage the overall agenda and operating group meeting cadence prepare materials for regular calls and meetings, and follow up on priority initiative actions to ensure progress. You will also define/implement a regional dashboard of key performance & health metrics.
You will ensure tight integration with the aspirations and plans of the global DnA growth platform, the geographic regional leadership, and the broader firm prepare updates and communications as needed.
In concert with regional leaders and reach & relevance/communications team, you will develop and execute a regional DnA communications strategy to create a culture of transparency, community, shared aspirations, and pride.
You will define client priorities with regional DnA leaders, sector leaders, and regional office leaders, where we can have significant impact on the DnA agenda. You will also track all regional client development and maintain an updated client funnel/pipeline.
You will prepare region-specific qualification material curate region-specific cases and references in close cooperation with global support teams (especially capabilities teams and global reach & relevance/communications team) keep an updated library of regional expert bios in collaboration with our SL teams and technical practitioner communities. You will also support client development and LOP preparation by making appropriate connections into the regional DnA leadership team and global capabilities group
You will work with CSTs scoping/launching DnA engagements to ensure they are aware of any applicable risk management processes (as a link to the DnA Risk group).
You will support the development/launch of new DnA initiatives in the region, including finding 1-2 priorities to personally drive with a senior sponsor each year.
