QUALIFICATIONS

Undergraduate degree in an analytical field such as economics, statistics or public policy
2 years of relevant work experience
Strong problem-solving, analytical and quantitative skills
Strong background in economic analysis, macroeconomics and understanding of the financial markets
Understanding of economic, financial and general business concepts and terminology
Proficiency in statistical methods, analysis and model building skills
High level ability to use Excel and statistical programs to analyse and present data
Familiarity with economic forecasting is an advantage
Professional attitude and service orientation; team player
Good written and verbal communication skills

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will join our Riyadh office as part of our Middle East office Knowledge Hub.
McKinsey’s Knowledge Hub provides research and analytics support to our consultants and clients. You will work with McKinsey consulting teams in the EEMA (Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa) regions to deliver significant, measurable and unique impact to clients on questions related to their operations strategy and transformation ranging from performance improvement to bench marking.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
You will work on client engagements with generalist consultants to articulate, scope and prioritize their research and analyses needs.
In this role, you will determine the most appropriate, cost-effective and timely research solutions to meet the team's needs with guidance from more senior colleagues. You will be responsible for collecting, summarizing, analysing and synthesizing facts and data that will serve as critical inputs to client service or McKinsey engagement teams. You will also develop a good knowledge of key sources of data and analytical methods.
