About the role:
The scope of this position focuses on the Infrastructure project management including servers , cloud , design and managing Delivery across technology projects. Experience of managing large projects . Infrastructure security and knowledge of SAP infrastructure is add on. The Infrastructure Project Manager (IPM) shall coordinate all infrastructure related projects. These projects will include, but are not limited to:
Cloud, Data Center, Migration of server workloads, Virtualization, Networking, Firewall, Hardware planning, Hardware lifecycle management.
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure to capture, prioritize and solve project problems in organized manner.
- Identify infrastructure goals and project delivery clearly.
- Handle large infrastructure projects migration from on premise to cloud
- Clear understanding of cloud and on-premise architecture
- Project management experience for large technology projects
- Multiple supplier and partner management
- Define all activities necessary to acquire project goals and objectives.
- Record document concisely and clearly all project plan.
- Identify prime risks and limitations within project plan.
- Evaluate and determine plan variance from project performance.
- Oversee precise project results to identify if relevant quality standards area attained.
- Collect and present performance information related to infrastructure projects.
- Identify prospective conformance and rigid concerns associated with project initiatives.
- Identify probable impact to associates, clients and shareholders.
- Perform with subject matter experts all through organization to gather entire business needs
- Conduct change throughout project inclusive of schedule, scope and team membership.
- Collaborate effectively with infrastructure associates across entire business units along with management levels.
- Identify prime cause of contention or disagreement plus recommend corrections as necessary.
Job requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field or equivalent work experience required
- 10-12 years of progressive experience in Information Technology
- PMP or Prince 2 certified
- Understanding of a range of compliance, regulatory, and legal requirements and relevant principles, best practices, and standards across multiple industries.
