Job Purpose

• The Territory Manager will be accountable of managing the territory independently in all aspects including: leveraging the NMD products portfolio to maximize revenues and market share growth, ensure KOLs management,

• The incumbent will also provide technical support when needed for Neuromodulation procedures, programming, patient follow-ups and any issues related to the devices.

Knowledge, Experience and Education: What level of knowledge, experience, and education are needed to perform the job in a fully effective manner?.

– Education: University degree, ideally in one of the following fields: life sciences, biomedical technology.

– Minimum of 2 years experience in the Medical Device or Pharma sales with preference for Neuro field

– Other qualifications/certifications:

  • Self-motivated and organized.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Fluency in English

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Formal presentation skills

  • Readiness for business trip

  • Microsoft Windows and Office

Major Accountabilities:

  • Executes strategies and tactics to increase market penetration, ensure sales goals are met and new accounts are established. Promotes new and existing products with all relevant marketing activities such as product presentations and competitor information in order to guarantee high competitive standards and maximize Abbott NMD visibility and image

  • Be the primary contact of the distributors of Saudi for tech questions, support in difficult cases, for ensuring alignment on marketing strategies

  • Builds and maintains relationship with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOL) to encourage their continuous input on conventional therapies/technologies, emerging technologies and patient requirements and gathering market intelligence and customer related feedback

  • Ensure tech support in OR when needed for Neuromodulation procedures, programming, patient follow-ups and any issues related to the devices

  • Provides forecasts, business reports and information flow as required on a timely basis

  • Maintains up-to-date technical knowledge of relevant therapies, Abbott NMD products, clinical practices, regulatory requirements, quality standards and business practices

  • Submit to Division Manager activity and results reports such as weekly customer visits plan, account updates and sales analyses

  • Behaves at all times as a role model for the Abbott Code of Business Conduct

Principle Challenges: Follows very diverse procedures and must define the nature of the problem and determine a solution from many existing alternatives

Evaluate correct strategic position of centers in his/her region in the segmentation official tool by Division (and in consequence amount of time and resources that center will get)

Selecting right physicians for specific ABT Educational events based on profiles identified for that course.
