Structural Engineer (Mid-Senior Level)

Responsibilities

Carrying out structural design on different of building types using variety of systems and materials.
Providing coordination support with other disciplines.
Prepares and reviews structural engineering design studies drawings and documents.
Perform technical reviews of engineering consultant output where the work is subcontracted for steel or precast works.
Providing design review of all work performed by team members including Contractor’s submittals.
Structural analysis and design using one or more of structural program.
Coordinate between structural drawings and MEP.
Indicate project and tasks duration.
Ensuring correctness and accuracy of own work. Ensuring works are completed within program.
Understanding of building structures, their stability and load transfer systems and be able to analyze them.
Prepare reports, presentation

Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years' post graduation work experience with a Bachelor degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
Working knowledge in the use of at the structural design software (FEM), at least ETABS, SAFE, SAP.
Able to work in a Team working environment.
Experience on multi-disciplinary design projects.
Well-versed with structural calculation for different load cases Static and dynamic analysis.
Experience with UAE building design standards and regulations.
Familiar with industry-standard codes ACI, IBC, BSI, etc.
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Proficient in preparing reports and calculations.
Ability to work on Navis work/Revit and AutoCAD
Knowledge in Navis work is an advantage.
