You will be responsible for:

Install, secure and manage windows server administration (Application, Database, Exchange and File servers).
Create and manage users, permissions, Group Policy and Active Directory administration.
Manage vmware infrastructure
Install hardware, software and troubleshoot issues.
Technical support for all computer hardware / software and network issues.
Install and maintain VoIP infrastructure and its associated software systems.
Develop, implement and maintain policies, procedures related to network administration, data security and disaster recovery.
Install and maintain servers, storage, routers, hubs, switches and other hardware and ensure optimal operation of all network hardware and equipment.
Maintain network component inventory, network asset related documentation including warranty and service records.
Design, configure and deploy LANs, VLANs, WANs, WLANs and VPN.
Document network design and layout including protocols, configuration and standards used.
Document instances of software or hardware failure, repair, installation or removal.
Manage firewalls, EDR, and intrusion detection systems.
Monitor network performance to identify and troubleshoot problem areas and resolve network performance bottlenecks.
Perform server and security audits and pentest
system backups and recovery.

who you are

Skills & Competencies:

3 to 5 years’ experience in system and network administration.
Ability to implement, administer, and troubleshoot systems and network infrastructure devices.
Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols.
Ability to create network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
Ability to quickly learn technologies and products using documentation and internet resources.
Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Dependable and flexible when necessary.

Education & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or related field of study.
Familiarity with multiple computer operating systems, such as Windows, Mac, and Linux operations
Work experience required in vmware virtualization.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
