Job Purpose:

We are financial organization with a focus on high threat who demand experience and proven security models to protect data. We are seeking an experienced ICINGA / Nagios / Grafana Engineer to join our team; candidate will be focused on the day-to-day operations and improvement of the ICNGIA infrastructure application. This is a unique opportunity to shape the growth, development, and culture of an exciting and emerging company.

Candidate will be responsible for developing and administrating.
Candidate should have experience setting up monitoring for Windows/Linux Servers, Database, App Servers on Nagios/Icinga Version 2 and Grafana
Maintain High Availability Icinga/ Grafana cluster, update, patch the cluster
Candidate should have sound knowledge of protocols and experience implementing monitoring using JMX, SNMP, syslog’s, http etc.
Candidate should possess knowledge to troubleshoot Linux/Windows server performance issues.
Candidate should experience writing complex scripts using python, bash, PowerShell. (Should be able to use IO, File Operations, Regex, String manipulation etc)
Good knowledge of Grafana and Influx DB would be advantage
Candidate should also have understanding of various databases like Postegres, SQL, ORACLE, MongoDB etc
Candidate should manage the new and existing ICNGA platform for optimal performance but not limited to applying updates, monitoring, upgrades, process queries and reports, monitoring additional to that the entire system to make sure all system transactions are processed correctly.
Should have solid knowledge on Unix as the system in currently running on Linux. Good Linux shell scripting knowledge is an added advantage
Should have worked on customization of ICIGNA/Nagios application or should have worked on any be spoke application developed using ICINGA/Nagios/ Grafana tools and Integration knowledge with other Third-Party application using webservices, API’s or any other integration services.

Experience & Key Skills:

5 Years plus experience in supporting ICINGA/Nagios/ Grafana and able to:
Installation and configuration for ICINGA/Nagios/ Grafana.
Onboarding new host , DB 7 Web. 
Be responsible for working with the Gafana Dashboard, Integration, document, build, secure, and maintain ICINGA/Nagios/ Grafana on-premises.
Follow life cycle processes to move solutions from Dev to Test to Production.
Configure and maintain Linux/windows-based Operating system files in support
Document the installation and configuration for deployment into production
Triage & fix defects found in ICINGA/Nagios/ Grafana tech stack applications & provide 24×7 on-call support.
Maintain & adhere to source code, configuration management, release management & software engineering best practices
IT based degree, university degree, or equivalent work experience required.
Good knowledge of banking IT systems and applications
Should have at least three years’ experience in architecting, designing, developing solutions using the ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana) stack
Experience with implementing and use of ICINGA/Nagios/ Grafana Stack for security, monitoring & auditing.
Experience with Linux and scripting knowledge.  Knowledge and understanding of Problem Reporting and Change Request methodology and process  Knowledge of configuration management process  Significance Experience in developing and applying disaster recovery and contingency plans
Should have Information Security knowledge and experience.
Strong experience in query languages and writing complex queries with joins and aggregate that deals with large amount of data.

Job Location: Dubai
Salary: AED 18,000 / 24,000 / Month.
