Budgeting and Planning

· Stay abreast with the market directions and latest trends and business and operational excellence

· Forecast and plan the sales targets in collaboration with the Shops and Showroom Manager and Sales Director

· Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets for his/her geographic sales area

· Assist in setting the annual operating plan of his/her geographic sales area

· Plan and maintain the sales area work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage optimum performance of employees and other resources while ensuring control and consistency

Employee Development

· Monitor and perform annual performance review for the Sales staff and conduct a performance evaluation report on a periodic basis or as and when required

· Identify the manpower and training needs of the Sales staff and coordinate with the Shops and Showroom Manager to recruit, develop and retain an effective work force in collaboration with the HR Manager

Operational Responsibilities

· Manage the sales operations of the respective geographic area and ensure the effective management of sales teams across sale points

· Monitor the sales performance of the respective geographic area and ensure meeting/exceeding sales targets

· Oversee the sales performance and display of promotion sections in the respective geographic area

· Consolidate sales reports of the respective geographic area, oversee the performance of different geographic locations, and allocate the team accordingly

· Identify the sales requirements/target amendments where required to meet/exceed the overall targets

· Identify areas of development and sales growth in addition to new products to sell and sales opportunities within the respective geographic areas and in reference to the sales performance

· Identify the required selling price changes and recommend the required increase/decrease (if any)

· Set the comprehensive allocation plan of the sales team within the respective geographic area

· Monitor the achievement of monthly targets and identify the required changes/additional promotions to meet the set targets

· Set the customized operational plan for each area based on the requirements of each

· Record sales figures for data analysis, selling trends and future planning

· Track the most common customer feedback and do the needful to take the required actions

· Build the sales culture and ensure adherence of the sales guidelines across selling points as well as the proper implementation of sales tools to enable the sales team

· Conduct regular and random visits to ensure the effectiveness of sales operations and adherence to the company policies and sales standards

· Develop and manage an efficient distribution network to improve sales performance

· Coordinate with the Production, Logistics, Business Development and Marketing Departments (i.e. planograms, promotions, etc.) to ensure that the sales operations are running smoothly to maximize the profits and meet the customer needs

· Identify the potential business threats and appropriate recovery actions within the respective geographic area

· Prepare and review the pertaining reports to his/her area of sales (i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annually or upon request from the top management)

· Ensure that the sales staff is well-trained (i.e. customer service, product information and sales techniques) and the proper customer service instructions are in place and well communicated as per the company culture and policies

· Ensure adherence to the respective laws and regulations in the respective points of sales within his/her geographic area

· Stay abreast with the latest health, safety and food regulations in Kuwait

· Ensure maintenance of highest standards of professional conduct, ethics and integrity in provision of the services

· Any other relevant work assigned by the department director

الوصف الوظيفي

المهارات

· Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field

· 10+ years of experience, with a minimum of 7 years of similar experience to the responsibilities of this job

· Proficient user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel and relevant software applications

· Strong understanding of company products, competitors and market positioning

· Awareness of health, safety and food regulations

· Experience with the sales protocols and commercial laws and regulations in Kuwait

· Ability to set and meet sales targets, and adapt to the changing parameters as well as customer needs

· Professional certifications (Preferred)
