The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society.  Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

You will become a member of the Contracted Quotes team in NI ON BC unit. Its key missionNI ON BC is to support our Customers (major Telecommunication Providers in Europe) in deploying the latest advanced services in Modern Transport Networks by driving increased customer satisfaction & sales, reduction of time & effort through automation, early engagement, optimal orderable & deliverable configurations.

What you will learn and contribute to

Join us as Technical Contract Manager and you will have the opportunity to grow professionally by handling both technical and commercial tasks. You will learn in depth the configuration of Optics products and get familiar with the sales and delivery processes that enables Nokia’s business worldwide.

As a part of our team:

  • You will be in charge to respond to recurrent customers technical contracted quotes requests for OPT Italian & EUR customer accounts, by preparing BoQs (Bill of Quantities) following the Customer Prices List (CPL) for frame contracts already won.
  • You will need to analyse and ensure the technical consistency of quotes in Italian and English BoQs and corresponding BoMs (Bill of Materials) are generated in the same time by using corporate and local tools set up and updated by the team for specific customer requirements (EPT, COMET, Alliance, EXCEL/VBA environment…).
  • You will participate in client regular meetings and collaborate with other Nokia stakeholders such as Technical Project Managers, Order Managers, Offer Leads, Sales Mangers etc. during the main project phases: design, offer, order, deployment and implementation.
  • You will closely work with other technical contracted quotes team members to create synergy, team spirit and dynamism.
  • You will well understand the end-to-end PO management system and make a difference by actively contributing with spontaneous proposals on how to improve the internal process to secure POs by Order Management team and reduce lead-times with Continuous Improvement Rewarded Initiatives.

Your skills and experience

You have:

  • Ability to understand and manage Customer needs: you should be able to communicate fluently in English and Italian
  • Expertise in Optics product portfolio
  • Advanced in Excel (VBA, macro language is a value add) to adapt and evolve local tools
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Strong autonomy
  • Skilled in communicating assertively
  • Cooperative and team-oriented, open to share knowledge
