Staff Nurse (NICU, ICU, L&D, Cardiothoracic OT Scrub)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing care and support to patients. They should be able to recognize patient needs and prioritize them with the needs outlined by the physicians.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides leadership in coordination and delivery of quality and compassionate patient care through partnerships.
- Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care.
- Complete documentation of procedures carried out to be recorded in the patient’s notes and hospital records as required.
- Carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required;
- Performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision.
- Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.
- Adhere to compliance for accreditation and guidelines throughout processes
- Involve the patient, significant others, and multi-disciplinary health care providers in the plan of care
- Analyze the assessment data, derive nursing interventions, set priorities according to patients needs, formulate a plan of care, implement and evaluate the outcome.
- Evaluate the care given, follow up reports and attach to patient’s file.
- Inspects area daily for compliance with safety, policies, procedures, regulations, and standards.

المهارات
- Must be a Registered Professional Nurse with current home country licensure, and eligibility for MoH licensure in Kuwait
- BCLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification preferred
- Transferrable Kuwait visa
- 3 to 5 years Hospital experience or the same field
- Knowledge in fundamental nursing procedures such as taking vital signs, medication administration, I.V. therapy, ECG process, blood sugar monitoring and proper wound management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good in written and spoken English, Arabic is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft office Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc)
