Duties & Responsibilities:
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases and scenarios
- Assist and review test cases and results of peers
- Conduct functional testing based on functional requirement specifications, test cases and scenarios and document test results
- Reproduce bugs reported by clients and document test results and observations
- Execute all levels of testing (system, integration and regression)
- Execute the allocated tasks as per the schedule
- Prepare and review release notes for all releases / builds
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
- Work closely with the business unit to analyze the user stories and / use cases / requirements for validity, feasibility and estimation
- Capable of training others in both formal and informal situations and share the functionality knowledge of the module with peers in the department
- Ensure that all testing related activities are carried out as per the defined standards and according to the company procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must show proficiency in critical and analytical thinking
- Should be detail-oriented, focused and have a lot of enthusiasm with the aim to achieve overall organizational objective
- Understand fluently the business and the various testing tools
- Be a good problem detective
- Technical and business experience is a must
- Capability of working within tight deadlines with attention to details
- Act as a strong team player
- Good time management skills
- Non-functional testing (automation, security and performance) is a plus.
