Duties & Responsibilities:

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases and scenarios
• Assist and review test cases and results of peers
• Conduct functional testing based on functional requirement specifications, test cases and scenarios and document test results
• Reproduce bugs reported by clients and document test results and observations
• Execute all levels of testing (system, integration and regression)
• Execute the allocated tasks as per the schedule
• Prepare and review release notes for all releases / builds
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments
• Work closely with the business unit to analyze the user stories and / use cases / requirements for validity, feasibility and estimation
• Capable of training others in both formal and informal situations and share the functionality knowledge of the module with peers in the department
• Ensure that all testing related activities are carried out as per the defined standards and according to the company procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must show proficiency in critical and analytical thinking
• Should be detail-oriented, focused and have a lot of enthusiasm with the aim to achieve overall organizational objective
• Understand fluently the business and the various testing tools
• Be a good problem detective
• Technical and business experience is a must
• Capability of working within tight deadlines with attention to details
• Act as a strong team player
• Good time management skills
• Non-functional testing (automation, security and performance) is a plus.
