Our client is a private multi-specialty hospital in Kuwait. Their 130 bed accredited facility includes inpatient rooms, labor rooms, neonatal units, Intensive Care Units, Operation Theatres, Emergency Room, outpatient clinics and sub-specialized medical/surgical fields. Currently, the hospital is adopting an expansion plan to 230 beds.

Your salary is a tax free all-inclusive salary! You will have a direct and permanent employment with our client for 3 years. They offer 30 days annual paid leave and annual study leave depending on your position. Your salary can be increased by their commission scheme if applicable.   • Duration of Contract – 3 years
  • Annual ticket for male: self, spouse and 2 children less than 19

who you are

You are a dedicated physician with excellent communication skills and having comprehensive knowledge of the latest technologies. You will need to provide clinical services as required relating to the patient care division and maintains contact with the Head of Department.

Your major responsibilities include:

  • Ensures implementation of the Ministry of Health regulations, the Hospital Medical Staff Bylaws, Rules and Regulations and the Emergency Room Department Policy and Guidelines.
  • Surgical Registrar must be in contact (written or verbal) to visiting surgeons and arrange if needed the admission and preparation of their patients for operation.
  • Regular ward rounds on surgical patients and assist treating physicians during ward rounds.
  • Assists in surgical procedures performed in OR by both in-house and visiting surgeons.
  • Attends casualty cases and should be able to give emergency treatment, be able to do necessary admission procedures and to refer difficult cases to consultants in the clinic.
  • All admission must be done with the consultant’s approval.• Completes discharge files and statistics.
  • Shares the on-call schedule in the department of surgery as required.• Ensures continuity of care for patients while on call.
  • Maintains the highest professional standard of documentation in line with policies and procedures and internationally accepted standards.
  • Responsible to report any occurrence not consistent with the operation of the Clinic or standard of service for patients, employees or visitors and situations which put patients, staff and visitors at risk of injury or other harm.

  • Exceptional skill in performing general surgeries
  • Experience in removing both malignant and benign tumors
  • Prior work in use of nanotechnology to conduct surgical procedures
  • Brilliant decision-making capabilities especially during emergency situations
  • Expertise in conducting minimally-invasive surgical procedures Ability to perform surgical procedures efficiently
  • Proficiency in diagnosing conditions that require general surgery
  • Updated with the newest trends in general surgery
  • Attention to detail Good analytical skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload effectively
  • Ability to tolerate long working hours.

Education & Qualifications: (Government University)

  • Bachelor’s in Medicine/ Surgery
  • Master’s in related field/ Board
  • Minimum experience required is 3 years. | Valid license | Current experience in government facility.
  • Willing to relocate to Kuwait.
