Job Summary
Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency. Provides emergency care and treatment as required
Job Responsibilities 1
Principal Accountabilities
- Monitors activities at the pool to prevent accidents
- Provides cautions to swimmers regarding unsafe practices and safety hazards, enforces and adheres to pool rules and regulations
- Inspects facilities for cleanliness; completes general pool cleaning and maintenance duties.

- Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures
- Knowledge of Customer Service Standards and procedures
- Knowledge in Lifeguarding Techniques and Procedures

- Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures
- Knowledge of Customer Service Standards and procedures
- Knowledge of pool equipment and maintenance.
- Knowledge of lifesaving methods and procedures, including first aid and standard resuscitation measures.
- Knowledge of rules and regulations governing conduct of the public at pools.
- Knowledge of swimming pool sanitation and chlorination systems.
