Job Description and Requirements The
Information & Research Supervisor
is responsible to carry out research projects related to Education and entrepreneurship ecosystems, analyzing data and interpreting the results of research activities conducted and recommend new interventions, programs and/or course corrections to INJAZ’ current provisions; sharing the results and findings to different groups including stakeholders, donors, partners, and internally to INJAZ staff.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conducting research on topics, trends, and global good practices related to Education & Entrepreneurship ecosystems.

Conducting primary and secondary research requested by the R&D Director and producing all documentation required.

Analysing primary and secondary quantitative and qualitative data related to education and entrepreneurship.

Writing reports and policy briefing notes on subjects related to education and entrepreneurship as requested by the R&D Director.

Assisting activities related to Real-Time Scaling Lab (including research, data collection, data analysis, lab convening, minutes taking, and documentation).

Providing evidence-based recommendations to INJAZ management based on research and observations.

Collecting data and information from INJAZ SBUs and sharing updates with INJAZ team.

Contributing to INJAZ’s reporting and documentation guidelines.

Liaising with relevant departments on new research topics and reports conducted by the R&D Division.

Maintaining information management, records, retention, and archiving of all research conducted at the R&D Division.

Conducting any other activities related to information collection and documentation, that the management may require in the future.
Deliverables:

INJAZ semester & annual report.

Research reports including recommendations for new interventions or enhancement of current programs.

Policy briefing reports related to Education and Entrepreneurship.

Documentation and scaling up Education and Entrepreneurship case studies and success stories as requested.
Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Economics or any other related field.
Experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis (Preferred).
EXPERIENCE
8 – 10 years of experience.
SKILLS AND CORE COMPETENCIES

Fluency in English and Arabic, both written and verbal

Strong interpersonal and communications skills.

Demonstrated experience in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to work under minimum supervision, meet deadlines, and manage work plans and timelines with minimal oversight.

Full working proficiency in both Arabic and English.

Follow-up skills

Creative thinker

Ability to effectively motivate and work both as a team player or individually. Management skills in a team setting.
* Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Self-motivated and able to follow through to end of assignments while meeting goals and deadlines.
