Operating Group: Communication, Media & Technology (CMT) – Network Services

Entity: S&C C&M – Center of Excellence ( CoE) for Network Services Business on Growth Markets Region

Our Management Consulting professionals work in one of three areas: (1) in one of our operating groups; (2) in our new Accenture Strategy growth platform; or (3) in our new Accenture Digital growth platform.

Accenture's CMT Operating Group comprises of 3 industry groups

The Accenture Communications industry group serves most of the world’s leading wire line, wireless, cable and satellite operators, as well as new entrants, mobile virtual network operators (MVNOs) and Internet players. Out of the top 15 communications companies in the 2010 Global Fortune 500, 14 are clients.

Our Electronics & High Tech industry group serves the communications technology, consumer technology, enterprise technology, semiconductor, software and aerospace/defense segments. Out of the top 52 EHT companies in the 2009 Global Fortune 500, 43 are clients

Our Media & Entertainment industry group serves the broadcast, entertainment (television, music and movie), publishing and portal industries. Of the top seven media and entertainment companies listed in the 2010 Global Fortune 500, six are current clients.

Our Network Services Group is a horizontal within the CMT vertical. This group has service offering which offers new solutions for Network Management comprising of Architecture, Design, Planning, Deployment and Operations for both wireless and wireline segments. This group also brings in the portfolio of Digital Solutions, IoT, Smart Cities, Cyber Security, Analytics, Robotic Process Automation, and Artificial Intelligence for the service providers.

CoE would enables the sales colleagues in sales regions to expand the reach of Network Services portfolio through innovative solutioning and compelling domain specific delivery capabilities. CoE would have be creating a pool of high end talent which would be having skills in the area of Sales , Pre-sales & Solutions, Delivery & Operations and Practrice.

ROLE –

The individual will be responsible for developing Accenture’s practice for Network in CSPs and Enterprise Segment in the Middle East region. While the role envisages both business development and service delivery responsibilities, the focus would be more on Client Management for ensuring delivery as per Client Commitment & Accenture Standards, increasing Sales Pipeline and managing P&L for their respective account/portfolio.

Responsibilities/Authorities

PROJECT DELIVERY

  • Leads, oversees and manages the Project activities and processes
  • Responsible for project reporting and coordination internally and with the client to ensure effective management of business portfolio of projects
  • Providing the project management guidelines to the teams for planning, scheduling, estimating, costing, resourcing, risk assessment and knowledge management for the project.
  • Ensures potential project challenges and roadblocks and recommends opportunities to overcome these challenges in coordination with all concerned stakeholders.

CUSTOMER MANAGEMENT

  • Relationship management with the client stakeholder, to ensure delivery alignment
  • Driving alignment with the C-Suite on the project deliveries & the overall Organizational Strategy
  • Identify key customer requirements and define the prioritization for the project team to manage these requirements.
  • Track and solve dependencies, and other issues with customers.
  • Explore opportunity, cultivate, allocate and coordinate resources to improve the projects with successful rate.
  • Identify the opportunities for Upsell
  • Develop and strengthen customer relationship by organizing various marketing activities.

MANAGING INTERNAL PROCESSES

  • Working closely with the Client Account Leadership to align with client expectations.
  • General solutioning skills (bring solution components together with all contributing experts e.g; BE, Analytics, RPA, digital, MC etc.
  • Managing internal business operations processes (MMS, MME, MMR etc.)
  • Tracking business/project KPIs and delivering the Sales/Revenue/CCI meeting/exceeding the target.
  • Internal Collaboration Working closely with project teams to ensure successful outcomes for the clients and Accenture

Experience –

  • A minimum of 15-20 years of experience in CMT landscape
  • Should be an Industry/business oriented person leading large scale transformation projects within the CMT space or for Networks within the Enterprises
  • Key experience should be in Leading delivery OR driving large scale transformation projects
  • Should have an understanding and experience of technology especially hardware/software that shall be relevant for CMT clients

Key Competencies & Characteristics –

  • Identifying Accenture's existing service offerings that can be leveraged in the India, ASEAN and APAC markets
  • Understanding of the business functions and processes within the industry
  • Understanding the nuances for managing and running large scale project deliveries
  • Identifying emerging market and industry trends and issues, potential game changers to the current business models for clients
  • Deal Shaper – Good understanding of match making, exploiting established alliances and adding new ones as appropriate
