Responsible for the product development and quality assurance of overall FF&E items. This includes

partnering with buyer and designer for shop drawing and sample review. In addition, has to supervise

inline and final inspection in the factory before shipment release and take the lead to resolve quality

issues.

JOB SCOPE

• Supporting the Development and Design organizations by endorsing sourcing recommendations

that ensure the highest level of quality for major global projects and renovations.

• Ensuring that the design intent is achieved in meeting the finish and quality expectations for

FF&E.

• Take the lead in first of type review and collaborate with buyer and designer to resolve technical

challenges.

• Serve as principal contact with Purchasing Agent.
• Review samples, strike-offs, etc for compliance with specifications and design intent.
• Review interior architectural plans in conjunction with the Project Lead to ensure

conformity with FF&E design.

• Prepare and coordinate all FF&E documentation required for Tender issues. Create

and maintain FF&E budget estimate versus actual (as needed).

• Review samples, strike-offs, shop drawings and materials etc for compliance with

specifications and design intent

• Participate in project meetings and Client presentations as needed.
• Attend Client work-sessions and design reviews as required.
• Travel internationally for assigned project presentations, coordination meetings and

site visits as required.

• Create defect list and provide training to Quality Engineer
• Take the lead in Sample review including bare finish and 1st piece.
• Partnership with supplier to provide technical support.
• Incoming goods inspection per any project. Factory inline and final inspection.
• Ad-hoc project assigned by Supervisor

المهارات

Education & Certification

 Bachelor’s degree IN Interior Degree design

 Member of Institute of Quality, Purchasing and Supply Preferred

Experience

 Experience and knowledge in shop drawing and product development of furniture products such

as case goods and upholstery

 Knowledge in factory production process and management

 Knowledge and experiences to supervise quality assurance processes in factory

 Able to communicate and write in English professionally

 At minimum an Bachelors Degree in a related field of Design (Interior design,

Textile Design, etc)

 8 – 10 years of luxury hospitality project experience resort hotels and white glove

service)

 Creative with a strong design flair and excellent presentation skills.

 Have the ability to take initiative and drive a project independently from design

intent through to completion.

 Relevant knowledge of product qualifications, sourcing, global vendor and supplier

contacts.

 Experience working on all aspects of FF&E projects from concept to completion.

 Experienced in handling projects in all design phases.

 Good understanding of design (composition, planning, materials, details, furniture

and fixtures).

 Strong in design detailing and freehand sketching preferable.

 Knowledge of site work and progress.

 Must be a good team player and able to work under pressure to meet tight

deadlines and perform in a fast paced environment.

 Responsible and ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

 Excellent problem solving skills.

 In additional to good sketching ability, proficiency in AutoCad, Photoshop, In

Design, Acrobat / Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, 3D Max and /or specification
