Global Head of Technical Services
Job Description
A global head of technical services is now needed to join the senior leadership team of an innovative and expanding fintech company. They are a company that specialises in end-to-end digital content products with a focus on B2B opportunities.
Your Responsibilities
- The MENA, SSA, and European engineering teams will be under the management of the global head of technical services, who will also supervise three regional organisations.
- To find, qualify, and implement new managed services solutions, you will collaborate with the managed services sales teams.
- You will needStrong communication abilities and the capacity to work with senior-level clients, sales teams, and delivery executives are requirements for the position.
Your Qualifications
- Deliver RFP responses to customers and highlight the company's unique value offer
- Arrange technical contract and tender terms and conditions to satisfy client and business requirements.
- Develop technical solution architecture and work with the sales team to create an overall winning approach. Perform technical and business requirement gathering from various stakeholders in the client environment.
- Comparatively, evaluate different technical solutions in light of customer needs.
- Oversee three regional teams totaling 40 engineers and expanding
- 7+ years of practical experience developing software
- Thorough familiarity with current Java and Node technologies
- Track record of successfully designing and completing large-scale technological projects
- Proficiency in the most recent front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML 5, and server-side JavaScript (node.js, TypeScript)
- Experience using a standard CI/CD infrastructure, such as Jenkins or Gitlab, to develop and release software.
- Expertise in relevant compliance and cloud technologies like Azure and AWS
- 5+ years of experience managing highly skilled and productive engineering teams
- 3+ years in a position interacting with clients abroad
- A client-centered strategy
