Looking for an experienced and hands-on finance professional to take a leadership role responsible for the company’s financial needs. This is a great opportunity for someone who is a strong financial and operational leader and wants to play an integral role at a fast-paced and growing food and beverage company. The ideal candidate will provide strong management and leadership skills and be able to drive best-in-class financial and accounting operations across teams and functions. This individual will be responsible for financial accounting and reporting, cash management, preparation of financial budgets and variance analysis.

This position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Job duties and responsibilities

  • Preparation of books of accounts.
  • Preparation and submission of financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT, WHT and zakat and tax returns in coordination with tax advisors.
  • Preparation and submission of various compliance related returns and forms.
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (payroll, sales, purchases, and other transactions)
  • Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting
  • Manage the company's financial accounting, monitoring, and reporting systems
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
  • Preparing financial analyses and reports.
  • Assisting with annual audit preparations.
  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
  • Preparation of annual budgets.
  • Coordination with banks and other related entities.
  • Payroll preparation.
  • Performing other financial and accounting duties and supporting senior staff as required or assigned.

المهارات

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA) is required
  • 5+ years of accounting experience in a food and beverage company.
  • Working knowledge of UAE tax laws and IFRS.
  • Strong financial analysis skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and stress management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with financial planning software.
  • Sound knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, and ability to solve problems.
