University of Doha for Science and Technology – Student Engagement Division – Profile:
University of Doha for Science and Technology – Admissions and Registration Directorate is inviting nominations and applications for the position of Student Services Specialist. Reporting to the Manager, Student Services, the Student Services Specialist must possess the skills and expertise necessary to support the Admissions and Registration Directorate of the University and fully implementing UDST’s mission and vision.
Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will assist in providing information to UDST community and to support functional units in the Admissions and Registration Directorate.
The successful candidate should have exposure to handle the Admissions and Registration Directorate’s reception desk by answering phone calls/Call Centre and responding to emails sent to designated email address.
The incumbent will assist students, applicants and parents to complete the forms available online or at the university ensuring all information required are complete and accurate. Further S/He will also assist registered students by responding to their questions in a timely manner, processing requests for Confirmation of Enrollment letters and providing directions.
The successful candidate shall also receive documents submitted by applicants/students on behalf of the Admissions and Registration Directorate and distribute them to the relevant sections within the Directorate.
The successful candidate will ensure that UDST brochures, calendars and other promotional material are well stocked, organized and easily accessible to visitors, applicants, students and parents.
The successful candidate will assist in transcribing documents from Arabic to English and vice versa, and proofread all documents to identify errors before submission. S/He will also coordinate and distribute transcripts and requested letters to students in a timely and efficient manner.
The successful candidate will support the Admissions and Registration Directorate by advising applicants of admission status, placement test scores and other information.
The incumbent will coordinate with internal stakeholders for any information that needs to be shared with the public along with performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Minimum 5 years of experience
Language

Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic language required
