What You'll Be Doing:

• Review and comment on geotechnical factual reports submitted by developer’s consultants/contractors.
• Review and comment on the geotechnical interpretative reports submitted by developer’s consultants/ contractors.
• Review and comment on the dewatering scheme proposed by developer’s consultants/contractors for deep basement excavations.
• Review and comment on the constructability of temporary/permanent ground support system proposed by developer’s consultants/ contractors for deep basement excavations.
• Review and comment on the design and calculations for the temporary/permanent ground support system submitted by developer’s consultants/ contractors for deep basement excavations.
• Provide recommendations to the Client regarding the effect of proposed ground support system on the existing/future facilities and buildings adjacent to the support system.
• Attending meetings with the Client, design manager, and various consultants, contractors to discuss the proposed ground support systems for deep basement excavations.
• Liaise with utilities authorities to obtain their approval on the proposed ground support system for deep basement excavations.

المهارات

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in civil Engineering or Geology
• Minimum 12 years of related work experience in design and construction of various dewatering and ground support systems e.g. Secant piling, contiguous piling, sheet piling, diaphragm walls, etc
• Experience of using industry standard software for the analysis and design of various ground supports system.
• Experience of design and construction in the Middle East, ideally in Abu Dhabi
• Excellent written and oral communications skills in English
• familiarity of industry practices and regulations

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Prior experience working on roads and infrastructure Projects in the UAE
