Petroplan is seeking to hire Sr. Construction Supervisor for one of its clients
Job Purpose
Responsible, accountable for the day-to-day Construction/execution of department assigned offshore Greenfield and Brownfield projects to ensure they are constructed in accordance with approved Scope of Work, approved drawings, engineering design and safety, environment and Company's standards & specifications
Job Requirement
B.Sc. in Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering discipline from a recognized University or Diploma in E&l, (or) Petroleum Engineering discipline or equivalent plus relevant courses in Safety, Quality Control and Construction.
1. Candidate should have a minimum of 12 years overall experience in supervising fabrication yard, offshore installation, onshore based Projects, construction of oil and gas production / wellhead platform topside and Jacket structures including construction work and material inspection, review and approval of construction method statements, load-out activities.
2. Candidate must have robust experience in FEED and EPIC projects with strong capability to review/approve contractor deliverables.
3. Computer literate. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Excellent command of English Language (oral and written)
5. Excellent knowledge of industry engineering standards, quality control, safety and environmental awareness.
6. Excellent ability to interpret and review method statements, inspection and test plans, construction schedules and drawings.
7. Ability to highlight potential bottlenecks/problems and ability to suggest solutions.
8. Ability to supervise a multi-national and multi-cultural contractor workforce.
