Manage an assigned area or team by planning, organizing and follow up maintenance of the assets and property to ensure reliable and cost-efficient operations and quality. Ensure firefighting and fire detection systems are maintained in line with Jotun HSEQ management system and local standards.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the inspection, testing, documentation, and maintenance routines for fire protection systems that includes fire detection and alarm systems, firefighting systems and passive fire protection systems are in line with Jotun HSEQ Management System, Group Operation Procedures, insurance company, NFPA and local requirements. Documents such as hydraulic calculations, as-built drawings and acceptance and commissioning reports, and all documents required by the local authority having jurisdiction.
- Manage the external maintenance contractor, Analyze the inspection, testing and maintenance reports using root cause analysis to provide the adequate solution.
- Participate actively in the management of change processes for changes that might have an impact on the performance of the fire protection systems. Train and develop the firefighting competence level on site
- Ensure that internal and external HSEQ requirements are followed.
- Manage maintenance contractors by ensuring that the tasks in their areas are executed as planned according to procedures, in an efficient way and with the right quality
- Monitor and evaluate service contractors and review supplier performance.
- Actively work together with operations to develop operations equipment to improve the efficiency and/or quality.
- Coordinate maintenance work with affected area owner to plan work orders appropriately.
- Implement root cause analysis on reoccurring or critical breakdowns and failures.
- Ensure that the area of Matrix Maintenance System responsibility is always up to date.
