Senior Manager – Inventory Management | Aftersales | Supply Chain | Al Futtaim Automotive | Dubai

Overview of the role:

Create, manage and evolve the Material Management Excellence department. The role has overall responsibility for all aftersales trade procurement. Managing multibrand service levels, Inventory levels and all trade procurement activities. Develop additional capabilities along the following dimensions – structure (people), process, policy and performance management.

• Standardise all aftersales parts procurement across the business units

• Implement a comprehensive purchasing policy for effective governance and control

• Organisation re-alignment into a separate automotive aftersales procurement department.

• Manage well-defined performance measurement framework (KPI’s) for visibility on operational efficiencies, effectiveness, and contribution to business units

• Continous improvement – Align the department with industry best standards

What you will do:

• Standardise multibrand parts procurement

– Maintain accurate service levels

– Maintain correct stock days

– Reduce order processing times

• Provide multibrand budget inputs for ordering and pricing, to form the consolidated budget for the Parts operation and ensure stock available to achieve the agreed budget. Additionally, to achieve purchase budgets set by the MDs.

• Review order quantities generated by syncron and place accurate orders to principals and other suppliers to achieve healthy stock turn. To guide the Inventory Executives in processing the urgent orders and have effective controls to maintain healthy ratio of urgent orders to stock orders.

• To review branch stocks and to call back slow moving parts to parts distribution centre (PDH) to maintain lean Inventory.

• To analyze back-to-back orders placed by the branches that the existing to approve supplier discrepancy claim reports, and ensure timely settlement.

• Continuously monitor orders of all brands to the principal and suppliers within the stipulated time

• Implement effective mechanisms for the replenishment of parts to ensure out of stock position. To plan and finalize initial parts order for new stock and ensure availability during new product launches

• Maintain and make changes to the inventory management tool to ensure smooth functioning of daily replenishment orders.

• Support Parts Manages in other dealerships owned by AF in managing a healthy stock.

المهارات

Required skills and experience to be successful:

Education: Degree or equivalent.

Experience and Knowledge: Minimum 7 years of expertise in the field of Supply Chain, preferably with Automotive/Construction experience. Must have extensive knowledge of Material management systems. Business development and process improvement skills.

Job-Specific Skills:

• Demonstrated experience developing management reporting packs and presenting to senior leadership;

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word/ Excel/ PowerPoint/MS Projects);

• Extensive knowledge of Material management systems Syncron and/or other ERP and SAP

• Experience with large multi Echelon multi-brand supply chains

• Experience in automotive/construction/Tyre industry either directly or as a consultant.
