Currently, we are looking for an ambitious and energetic Ocean Freight LCL Business Development to be based in Morocco. The successful candidate needs to maintain and develop LCL shipments, ensure adhering to management policies and procedures. Control the customer service executives and manage the flow of business with the product manager.
Key Responsibilities
Customers
Internal : Ocean Freight Department
- Maintain and share with colleagues as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant import LCL procedures; tariffs and duties; licenses and restrictions.
External: Customers
- Develop and maintain strong existing customer relations and loyalty through ensuring customers satisfaction.
- Send weekly report to customer.
Stakeholders
Internal:
- Cooperate with accountant dept. to make sure that profit margin is as per company policy.
- Liaise with other departments in order to establish and maintain effective and relevant import activities and support in relation to the organization's sales, purchasing, materials management, production and overall operating functions.
External:
- Keep strong relations with carrier to get more facilities and to visit them on regular basis.
- Solve any problem that may arise during operation.
- Coordinate with branches to ensure operation is accomplished on highest standards and to gain customer’s satisfaction.
Process
Sales Support
- Prepare SOPs with Sales.
- Provide rates to Sales.
Administration Support
- Handle operation for import customer: file, booking, on carriage, custom clearing, follow-up & invoicing.
- Procedure & productivity standards adherence.
- Receive order (by mail/sales/customer).
- Inform consignee once shipment has been shipped from Origin.
- Follow-up arrival of shipment and alert for consignee.
- Revising rates, delivery of shipping docs to customer.
- Issuing invoices.
- Check the creation and closing of files on due time and course.
Quality & Improvement
- Comply with company Quality Environment and Safety process.
- Following Order Acceptance procedures in all operational work.
- Ensuring that the OH&S management system is established implemented and maintained in accordance with this OHSAS Standard.
People Management
- Manages LCL team operations.
- Inspires coworkers to attain goals and pursue excellence. Identifies opportunities for improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to define, develop and document business processes and procedures.
- Effective interpersonal high skills.
- Computer processing and system / data entry orientation, with various PC software.

Job Experience:
- Minimum 3 years working experience
