The team you’ll be part of

Mobile Networks, which includes mobile network products, network deployment and technical support services, and related network management. This business group will offer the full portfolio for customers wanting to buy mobile access networks. It target leadership in key technologies such as 5G, ORAN and vRAN.

You will be part of a Development Unit (around 1300+) among 11 R&D Tribes in different countries& continents. Within your Tribe in Timisoara, you will belong to one of the Squads, each composed of 5-9 people

What you will learn and contribute to:

Your role will consist in:

  • Writing the program codes and producing specifications;

  • Working closely with analysts, designers and test engineers ;

  • Reviewing current systems, presenting ideas for system improvements, including refactoring;

  • Testing the product in controlled, real situations before going live;

  • You will have the opportunity to work in a young team, eager to learn, experience and become stronger;

  • We are working in agile way, focusing on most important and relevant features.

Your skills and experience

Mandatory

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master’s university degree in computer science or electronics;

  • Basic knowledge of C++, design patterns, software quality metrics, static code analyzer, black-box testing and white-box testing for state machines;

  • Basic understanding of Agile development methodologies, test-driven development, continuous integration, code coverage;

  • Fluent in English (both in written and oral communication);

  • Searches to learn continuously and fast, in an ambitious and resourceful way.

Nice to have:

  • Passion, positive attitude, engagement and desire to take over challenging assignments as part of a team, making things WORK;

  • Willing to contribute with creative, out-of-the-box solutions, to problems arising in a dynamic environment, under high market pressure;

  • Quick learner and adaptive to change in directions.
