Amgen ELI Cluster is seeking a talented, innovative, hands-on, customer-oriented HR professional with a passion for developing & leading best in class HR strategies.
This position will partner with business leaders across Amgen ELI Cluster, as well as the regional & global HR teams to maximize Amgen’s workforce capability, talent management/succession planning, retention activities, and supporting day-to-day operations as well as on-going process improvement.
Key responsibilities:
1. Develop and own the delivery of the global HR strategic plan at local level
2. Act as a consultant to his/her stakeholders and provide input on the HR implications of strategic and operational decisions and plans
3. Support and develop line managers in driving a performance culture through coaching, facilitating talent assessments and succession planning discussions
4. Provide expert input to his/her stakeholders, as well as the HR team in terms of employment legislation, policies and practices
5. Lead the design and delivery of development initiatives
6. Provide tactical leadership in evolving the organization and strengthening the talent pool by enabling business leaders in creating the right environment, leading through change and develop teams
7. Deployment of performance management/talent management at local level
8. Ensure that all employees are well communicated and trained on the application of Amgen’s performance management model & process
9. Monitoring, evaluating and reporting of performance management process at local level
10. Lead culture transformation, change management, employee engagement and diversity & inclusion initiatives
11. Keep up to date on local labor legislations and advise the management and staff on any impact
12. Accountable for employee data management
13. Drive HR related cost savings and manage HR budgets as set by senior management
Requirements:
1. 8+ years in business partnering; preferably in HR
2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field is required
3. Deep understanding & knowledge on local labor law & employment legislation is a must
4. Strong sense of confidentiality and discretion when dealing with people
