This position supports a US Military customer and may have a 24 x 7 support requirement which could include an Extended Workweek (EWW) or Shift Work during other than normal duty hours.

Job Description:
The Technical Project Manager functions to support technical project management activities at unit level. This involves overseeing all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects. Technical Project Manager analyzes new and complex project-related problems and creates innovative solutions that normally involve the schedule, technology, methodology, tools, solution components, and financial management of the project. Technical Project Manager provides applications systems analysis and long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities for necessary support resources.
Job Responsibilities:

Receive operational guidance from unit Leadership and manage all project and task requirements accordingly

Provide advice to unit leadership on engineering efforts and provide technical recommendations for current projects or initiatives being considered

Apply Project Management best practices in the synchronization and coordination of the development and execution of all requirements, ensuring engineering projects are completed in a timely manner with quality results

Operate in environment that has requirements in frequent political-level customer engagement in a Combined Joint-Operational Military environment

Ensure all Contractor personnel receive proper training, care, and access to the tools, equipment, and materials necessary to complete project and task requirements

Provide accurate and timely reporting to key leaders and stakeholders to include consolidating the Weekly Status Report and reviewing the Projects Tracker for accuracy
Job Requirements:

12 years of operational experience

Must be a U.S. Citizen

Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and a comprehensive background check
