Purpose
You will provide piping engineering services to Worley and its customers, including technical support and supervision within the piping engineering team.
Responsibilities

Review the Client Technical Documentation and Requirements.
Ensure Quality of deliverables, efficiently manage project budget and meet the project schedule.
Lead team of Piping Material Engineers.
Prepare Man Hour Estimations.
Perform Pipe Wall Thickness Calculation.
Perform Branch Reinforcement Calculation.
Preparation / Review of Piping Material Specification.
Preparation / Review of Valve Data Sheets.
Preparation / Review of Valve List, SP Item List.
Preparation / Review various Specialty Item Data Sheets.
Preparation of Insulation Specification.
Preparation of Coating Schedule based on CMP.
Issue technical part of Material Requisition for all Piping Components.
Review of Technical Offers of various Piping Components and Preparation of Technical Bid Evaluation Report.
Review and approve Vendor Documents (NMR documents).
Knowledge in Valve Testing and Inspection Procedures
Perform inter-discipline checking for the various documents.
Check and review different documents prepared by the Piping Material Engineers.
Provide job oriented training and guidance to Junior Engineers.
Attend various review and Technical Meetings.
Establish 3D material data base.
Expertise in Non-Metallic piping.
Handling technical queries raised by construction contractors.
Ensure implementation of quality control procedure for the assigned work.

Qualifications
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience

Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work to Worley and its customers.
A sound knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the piping engineering, and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
A sound knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory requirements.
Competent use of piping engineering specific software.
Competent use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
Substantial technical land practical experience in piping engineering in the same or similar industry including experience in working in multi-disciplinary projects and teams.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
Required:

A recognised and relevant engineering degree.

Preferred:

Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) status.
Relevant postgraduate qualifications in engineering, management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent.
