Senior CAD Specialist (Civil/Infrastructure)
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CAD Specialist to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:

Develop concept sketches for the Marine Civil & Infrastructure projects for various topside elements
Develop concept sketches for the topside projects for capping beam, crane rail beam, paving, potable water, sewer, telecom and power works
Develop concept sketches for the topside projects for container terminal and various buildings e.g. Operation, Substation, Pump station works
Undertaking material take-offs and volumetric calculations and cut/fill analysis using Civil 3D (or similar) for landside works
Preparation of detailed drawings of various project stages including plans, details, sections, and elevations and details using the CAD/BIM model or software to complete CAD assignments
Performs CAD operations to determine project plans and collect data for designs and engineering-related activities to prepare and produce complex drawings for projects and work packages.
Manage and support Internal Contacts in compiling Tender and As-built documentation (Drawings, As-Builts, and Documents, etc.)
Development and maintenance of BIM and 3D models and libraries for all client's assets
Carryout the tasks assigned by the Engineering/CAD team on day to day basis
Use of the EDMS system (document management system) of the client

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
CAD specialist with a minimum of 10 years relevant professional experience.
Strong knowledge of the various topside elements such as capping beam, crane rail beam, paving, potable water, sewer, telecom and power works
Strong knowledge of the various container terminal, topside buildings e.g. Operation, Substation, Pump station works
Basic knowledge of the MEP elements
Knowledge of BIM software, AutoCAD and Revit
Strong knowledge of the CAD standards
Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural engineering/CAD team.
Ability to meet stringent timelines
Ability to coordinate with the various teams of the client
