Job Description SummaryNEA Order Operations Leader is responsible for leading and executing the order operations process for a $1.6B business through partnering with Regional Operation GMs on strategy, allocation and execution, in connection with global supply chain team and SBUs. The role will design and execute order management organizational and process strategy, influence key stakeholders across the region and supply chain to drive change and will team with global counterparts to build world class order management capability.
NEA Order Operations Leader is the primary owner for timely, accurate, and compliant execution of order management activities including order assessment, entry, and backlog management.
NEA Order Operations Director will foster a culture of customer experience excellence in the team and will design and execute a process improvement strategy to ensure 100% commercial contracting compliance and optimal resource utilization, as well as, ensuring accurate order signals.
Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coach and guide a team of 100+ order operations professionals that drive predictable, effective, and compliant order management while providing outstanding customer service levels
- Develop high performing order management teams including measurement of performance against organizational objectives for quality, responsiveness, and compliance
- Institute and manage processes and operating mechanisms with sales, commercial operations, supply chain, controllership, finance
- Coach sales team and commercial operations on commercial compliance requirements while maximizing support for specific customer requests.
- Function as subject matter expert on order management practices and procedures
- Drive continuous improvement on all related processes, documents and tools, to ensure ongoing standardization and simplification of order management practices
- Enable team culture and drive organization to improve customer/client satisfaction levels
- Provide executive leadership with performance updates to shape business priorities and actions
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree and 5 years of operations management experience
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience and proven ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, maintain high morale, employee involvement & teamwork
- Exceptional communication (verbal, written) & collaboration skills with proven ability to drive and manage change initiatives in a matrixed environment
- Capability to understand and analyze complex situations utilizing data analysis and systems thinking
- Demonstration of rigor and strong execution in an operational environment
- Demonstrated ability to develop and lead sustainable process changes, and adapt to business and functional changes
- Ability to manage working with regions at different time zones.
- Strong Computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Materials, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management
